Dedicated to the memory of Frank Perkins

This site is a tribute to Frank Bryan Perkins who was born on December 14, 1940 and who passed away on the 17th December 2016. He joined the army in 1960 and after training at Tidworth went straight to Malaya to fight the terrorists in the Jungle. In his time in the army he fought in most of the worlds trouble spots: Aden, Belize, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Cyprus and so on. He had more than his fair share of combat and lost most of his friends to war. In hindsight it's clear he suffered from PTSD as it is known today, but like all his friends and colleagues, he soldiered on and sought the quiet life in his retirement. He very much lived his life how he wanted to live it. He loved his family, cars and fishing and had a strong opinion on almost everything. He loved his food and cooking and any conversation at some point turned to cooking food with some new recipe he'd discovered. He was a  Brother, Father, Grandfather and great Grandfather and he is much loved and will always be remembered by his family and friends.
